Blogging perspective

Whether you're a new or experienced blogger, perspective is always important - especially in relation to readers, feedback, and what you read.
When you're starting out, it's helpful to know where
you're going. If your dream is to be a mainstream family blogger, that's fine but then you need to know what that takes. If you just want to express yourself, that's great but then you need to be realistic about how many people are going to find your blog.

The other thing that's important to have perspective on is feedback. You'll never make everyone happy and you may get some negative comments that hurt. Perspective helps balance those with positive feedback as well as by realizing people are sometimes a lot more hurtful over the internet than they are in person.
You may be also getting no feedback. That's very typical, and actually it happens more often than negative feedback. That's something else you need to take into perspective. People don't always think of the real person on the other side of the screen who may need kind words, interaction and support. Just recognize it's a common issue - most people read and never comment, and if you really crave that sort of community, then make a goal and take well defined steps towards reaching it.
