To be
able to show your passion, your writing must draw from your own experience
and research on the topic. You can start writing broad and wide so that you
are able to attract a wider audience and start writing straight away. Writing
broad means that you can discuss in general on your topic that you have
interest in before you narrow down to
a specific niche topic which may be your
product or services that you are promoting.
How
do you have a blog that would bring in business?
Besides
providing free information to your visitors you do have to ensure that you can
turn them into buying customers.
That's
why you have to write continuously in your niche topic that your audience is
interested in order to draw in the people who really have vested interest in
what you are writing. These people wouldn't have gone to your website again and
again otherwise. You may find that there are lots of competitors out there
which are of the similar niche that you are also writing about. Instead of
competing with them why not position yourself differently? Though all of you
might be talking about the same thing but you are putting it differently in
your own voice and style.
Writing
in your own unique voice is your creative tool because your voice is your brand. In your brand you'd
want your prospect to find your posts consistent in style and content. Even
though they are reading a different post they'd have the same feeling like they
are reading from their same author of their favorite novel.
If they
like the way you present your ideas and it is worth their time reading it they
will come back again and they might even subscribe to your feed.
Convince your
reader to opt-in and let your email marketing campaign bring them to your sales
page where you have more time and space to advertise your offer. Your blog is
acting as a first point of contact for your business just as if you wanted to
attract your customer to enter your store first before you can even sell to
them.
